How would you react to seeing a polar bear as you’re strolling through the woods? Would you double-check what’s in your Thermos when coming face-to-face with a dinosaur? In Russia’s woodlands, these are the sights unsuspecting hikers may come across.
Evgeny Ches is a talented graffiti and contemporary artist from Moscow. With a passion for transferring urban art into a natural environment, he employs the technique of cellograffiti to create striking animal pictures with nature as their background.
Stretching cellophane between two trees as his unusual canvas, Evgeny composes his huge images in stages using spray paints. The realistic animals appear to spring to life in their natural surroundings.
Taking pleasure in creating these unique pieces of artwork, which have taken social media by storm, Evgeny also takes care to preserve the natural beauty of the environment and its inhabitants.
As confirmed to Blogimal, each project is completely dismantled and removed a few days after it’s finished, returning the scene to its original condition.
