The dog meat trade in China and South Korea is a horrific commercial industry that subjects millions of dogs each year to extensive suffering before their cruel deaths.
These dogs are taken, sometimes from loving homes, tied up, stuffed in cramped wire cages with many other dogs and transported across long distances in trucks. Their destination? Slaughterhouses or festivals, like the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, where they are bludgeoned, burned or boiled alive.
Please sign this petition urging Chinese officials to put an end to the dog meat trade.
