Hello and welcome to Blogimal!

As an animal lover and someone who enjoys writing, this blog began as a hobby for me back in 2017. It was a fun way to get in touch with artists and sculptors before writing about their work and it was also a good way to share animal rights campaigns to a wider audience than just my friends and family.

During the 2020 pandemic, however, work became scarce, as it did for many other people. Having neglected Blogimal for a while, I started writing again and set up an online store selling items with animal designs on them. As well as the store on this website, you can also find them in my new Etsy store.

The ‘we’ that I use in my posts refers to my team of two cat helpers, Trevor and Charlie. They have the essential jobs of sitting in front of the computer screen, walking over the keyboard and playing with the mouse (they seem to prefer it to real ones, phew!) when I’m working.
